I'm going to start carrying around a pen and paper
« on: May 31, 2017, 04:58:35 PM »
Coming home from work yesterday I noticed a KLR in stall next to me.  Something caught my attention and it turns out his exhaust flange was dangling from the exhaust pipe.  i'm assuming the bolts broke or something - cause I can't imagine how something like that would just work it's way loose.

Anyway - I'm looking around for something to write with and realize that I don't have anything on me that could be used to communicate this to the guy.

It was very obvious if you knew what you were looking for, but otherwise you'd never see it.
It's a KLR, so he's only got one pipe - without a flange there's nothing to keep the pipe on.  Bad mojo - but an easy fix, if you knew about it before it falls apart.

Just a simple sticky pad and a pen would have sufficed.
