Anyone identify this cb750k part?
« on: June 02, 2017, 03:18:16 PM »
Hello. I'm putting together a '77 750k and can't remember for the life of me where this part goes or what it does. I believe it goes on the lower engine mount bolt behind the right footpeg. The paint marks seem to match up between this piece and the nut. I searched google images for literally days until I thought I'd ask here. Thanks for any help. It's driving me nuts.

It might hold the fuel overflow line away from the hot muffler.

I have a 75K so this may be a 77 only but I recall a bracket like that off of the oil pan that holds the neutral switch wire. There may even be one that holds the harness from the points to the rear of the engine.

Hah! There's more parts I found out I'm missing. That breather system is honestly so frustrating that I hardly even care for proper routing anymore. It's so darn hard to get to -- I forgot the channel piece that goes on the inside right above the brake lever, and it turns out I have to *remove the bloody swingarm* to get it in!

Nope. She'll be fine routed however :P

Thanks Mike. I don't know how I missed that, I thought I checked every diagram.
