Different part numbers (52400-341-911XW for a K4 & 52400-392-003 for an F1). Is one longer than the other? Different mounts?
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

The most obvious difference is the f bike shocks don't have the spring shroud.  I have used both and not found any performance advantage to either and I think they are the same length.
If it works good, it looks good...

I do know the earlier shocks were different than my K2, which are all chrome and three detents for adjustment. Later K model shocks had 5 adjustment detents.
