I looked everywhere and all I can find are some that are as old as the bike?? No company reproduces these or what?? Kind of odd that my searches turn up empty. What do people do make there own or literally buy a NOS 50 year old filter? Any help would be a huge help. Thanks

That's not it.. Mine looks like this.. Its the fact that only one I can find is from some third world country and is old as the bike itself which in theory would think be pretty brittle I would assume. Would think they would make a repro somewhere or something

i just use the old filter from 1972..it still vork fine..on cd 50 it inside a plastic housing..vho are brittel and hard..even if you heat it up,by a hot air blower

so think the day it are gone to far..i vill put a thepy pod filter inside the battery housing..and made a adapter to fit it..so no harm are done to the orginal parts
i kan not speak english/but trying!!

That's a good idea.. I'm just going to make my own filter out of some foam and place it inside original air box sure that will be fine
