Blowing fuses
« on: June 11, 2017, 01:50:52 PM »
If my regulator is not installed on the bike and I turn the key to on could that blow the main fuse? Or did I mess something up when I ran my wires thru the new bars? They went thru in a matter of minutes. It was almost too easy.

BTW, the answer to the Reg/Rec question is "No" in principle, unless you short circuit running voltage from it to ground  :)

thank you sir.  i found it after i disconnected the right side controls and it still blew.  then got to the left side controls and tugged on the wires.  i looked over to the dash just as the fuse blew and noticed a socket rubbing.
