My First CB750
« on: June 05, 2017, 06:14:46 AM »
Hello, I joined a while back in 2014 when I was doing a CB500T and asked a total of 2 questions. That bike has been long gone and I finally have found a CB750 project. Its a 74 with a few period correct aftermarket item.

The story I was told is that it was owned by the same person for 40 years and stored in a barn which makes sense of all the surface rust on the chrome parts. The owner passed away and the bike went to his niece who spent $1700 on repairs and maintenance getting the bike safe and road worthy in just the last year. The tank and paint is pretty nice, not one ding. Its the Boss Maroon color.

The bike has 5500 actual miles and a set of Lester mags, I havent too many with the slotted lip. Also a 4-into-2 Hooker exhaust set up.

It shifts and runs great, no leaks.

Not sure what the plan is yet, but Ill start by cleaning it up and just enjoying it.

Heres a few photos. The new CB750 and the my last finished project, the CB500t.
