I can confirm it works.  The real magic will be turning this into a title.

I got a smile out of my skeptical wife when I showed her the plate, proudly proclaiming, "Look what came in the mail today".

After reading this I had a panic attack, what did I do with my title when I took the K3 apart?
No worries, I put it in a safe place, only took an hour to find which safe place I put it.

I know there have been posts about this, but can you add one to your thread that details the steps?

I went through a bonded title dealio about 20yrs ago in Colorado. I took the frame for inspection to the chpd, but found out they won't inspect frames, bunnavasich, looks like you've gotten the same run around.. hope everything works out for you

Another forum member (who will remain nameless) shared his method with me.  Out of respect I don't think it would be appropriate to post the steps.  There is some good info out there if you spend the time researching.

I got the run around big time.  Texas has some strict vehicle laws and regulations.  Probably has something to do with being a border state.

I notice the color is "Bro". I didn't know there is a bro color as well as a bromance.
Good job!

Everyday I meander past the parts in the shop, waiting for that day when the house is finished and the shop is finally cleared of our possessions that belong in the house so I can start working on the chopper again.  The dream is still alive.

Gotta keep on keepin' on. I was fortunate not to have any meaningful interruptions in my K3 project but sometimes life provides detours, some of which help us appreciate when we can get around to the projects we like to do.
When you finally get back into it you'll love it and the project will be a masterpiece!
Happy New Year

I'm tired of sawdust, drywall mud, latex paint, romex wire, etc.    I need some grease and oil in my system.

Do you have pics of your chopper, Frank?

Its just a bare frame at the moment, got to mock it up slightly one day,  it will be flat track style with a twist.
Seat base will flow into the frame and fit nice when done..
