« on: June 14, 2017, 11:15:29 AM »
So I took the bike (72 CB350) I just finished building for my daughter to Deals Gap (Tail of the Dragon) last week.  I am up for photo of the week.  The voting is tight so I need all the help I can get.  All you have to do is follow the link, scroll down to my photo, and click the like button.  Vote early and vote often please.

You are competing against Groms and Z125s, including a yellow Grom rider stroking a purple dildo mounted to the front fender!  Fourth row down, right side.  WTF?!!!  Stiff competition, indeed.

IDK, that guy on the scooter with the Elmo helmet looks pretty rad. LOL

You have about 300 more likes than the next closest one I see, so you look pretty safe to win.

The groms were everywhere and were pretty much a complete nuisance.  I have never seen so many people who wreck into each other.

So the story with the Mazda...the week before I went there a local kid was more than likely going too fast and lost control of his car at 10:30 at night.  Bounced from the ditch across the road and off the side of the mountain into a tree.  He along with his passenger were killed.  Tragic for sure.  There was a drive down the mountain for him.  Killboy did a big thing for it.  I kind of understand the sentiment of the people with the sign.  A buddy of mine said...he messed up and killed himself and someone else.  That's not something that should necessarily be celebrated much less be profited from.

I voted. Bike looks great! Grom's are ridiculously gay, and I don't mean that in offense to homosexuals.

I think the whole Ruckus/Grom bike club thing is a little silly, but I bet racing them on a go-cart track would be fun.  I thought of buying one for the better half, so she could ride something small and light around town.

Says the guy with a Z50!    ;)
Just my $0.02 but I think the Ruckus/Grom/z125 are just modern versions of a Z50/pitbike.  Mini-fun-machines.
Taking yourself too seriously (or spending a few thousand on upgrades on one) is a little silly.

Yah something seemed a bit wonky yesterday when the votes went absolutely crazy in the span of a few hours when they jumped from ~ 35 to over 500.  It could be some kid sitting there with nothing better to do and who knows how to cheat they system.  They do have something that is supposed to prevent you from repeatedly and rapidly voting, but I am sure there is a work around.  Although there were a lot of people there for the memorial drive so it could very well be legit.

Regardless, I am still voting in the hopes that the people who run the website take into consideration something similar to what a buddy of mine told me.  "He messed up and killed himself and someone else.  That's not something that should necessarily be celebrated much less be benefitted from."  Another buddy told me "votes should be for a good shot so someone can get a nice poster. They should not be to memorialize someone via a random sign held next to a Miata.  What is the kid driving the Miata going to do with the poster...throw it in the corner if his room?"  I am not going to get butt hurt over it, but it would have been nice to win.
