Oil filter for the 750 question
« on: June 13, 2017, 02:02:18 pm »
Hi, My F2 engine came a two piece oil filter housing and my K7 engine that is in build now came with no filter or housing attached.
Looking at used parts they only offer the main filter housing but not the smaller section.
Did different engines have different oil filter housings ?
Cheers Keith

The two part filter can be used on ANY 750 engine as long as header clearance allows AND you have the longer filter bolt and inner spacer.
(more surface area = increased cooling)

Also...you can omit the inner spacer and the additional filter section, grab a shorter filter bolt, and you can go that route as well.
Either setup works.
