Did you ever get your running? I have two that seem to have rev limits, do you know if they were built with rev/speed limiters because of being training models? Because there is no tach I can't tell what RPM it starts to cut out at but I would say around 3000 and both bikes are identical in this sense so I don't this it is a bad ignition model.
