A bike with no carbs "runs"?

Was going to ask the same thing!  It "runs" but may not "drive"?!!

Or...maybe we figured you were smart enogh to say what you mean.

If you think details don't matter, the outlook for your bike is pretty bleak, imo.

Best of luck!

I guess I'm not smart enough because I immediately thought what the others thought....a bike with no carbs runs. Dude....go back and read what you posted. The words kinda jump out at you. A guy with such a low post count maybe shouldn't come in and make cracks about people being smart enough.

Here I am right in time. Proceed.

I knew what he meant. Not exactly what he said, but I figured he slammed some known decent carbs on to fire it up.

This doesn't excuse the response though.

Interesting. A bike with no carbs "runs"?  ??? How did you manage to verify that?

this sounded like a cocky remark to me on a board full of people who wrench on bikes,
how would anyone verify if it runs?
thats all
wow
not very friendly

There is a wide range of people on the board ... and a large number of them are not experienced mechanics.

The devil is often in the details, when attempting to assist with various questions posed.

Everyone can take a breath ... this is the internet after all.

Sorry to all,
not sure why I got worked up over nothing
I should have been more specific  and I left a lot to assumption
I was on another board and some people just criticize everybody else's posts without adding useful information so I jumped to conclusions
Again I'm sorry

Steve
