Newbie to the SOHC forum from MI
« on: June 19, 2017, 06:22:12 PM »
Hello all.  Great to be in the forum.  I Just picked up my girlfriends fathers 1977 Honda CB750A that he purchased brand new and has been the only owner of the bike.   It was his baby and he rode it until life threw other priorities and health issues into his path.  The bike has been sitting untouched in his garage for the last 26 years and now I am bringing it back to life.  I'm looking forward to exploring and learning from the other members of the forum.  Here is I pic of the bike when I picked it up as well as a a previous bike build.  My 99 VLX bobber

Welcome from Texas.

A good cleaning of the carbs and tank, fresh fuel and that bike should run.

Would look much better without that fairing and trunk...

I have already gutted the bike and am going through everything, all new lines and had to order new intake/ carb boots.  A gallon of simple green and 2 cans of carb cleaner later.

No sir.  Bike has been sitting in a garage in IN. and is currently being rebuilt by my uncle and I.  Once it's running.  I will be hauling it home.
