Amazing condition! What a score.  PM harisuluv -- he will have parts for your carbs or you can buy a set of beautifully restored carburetors from him that will work like new.

The K&N is a nice filter.  But, you lose protection from water ingress.  And, it can get muddied up when driving in the rain.  I have one.  It came with a bike that was modded for track-like looks.  He removed the fenders, including the inner fender, on the rear, which allowed street irrigation run off to spit directly onto the filter from the rear tire.  ::)

This bike also had short bars on it and when you turned right, it stretched the clutch cable and it disengaged.  He quite literally abandoned the bike.  I got the bike through a lien sale.  I restored most of it (including the stock air box) and it became a very nice bike to ride.  I did sell it, eventually.

I am a little worried about the 40k miles, but it seems like it was very well taken care of. I will def get in touched with the guys mentioned for carbs. Im hoping i can slap em on and fire her up. That will make rebuilding the master cylinder alot easier

I wouldn't worry about the mileage.

A lot of us dont rebuild masters anymore, you can get this one for just a little bit more than a rebuild kit...

Beautiful!

Be very careful removing those side covers, they are very brittle and easy to crack. I put a dab of grease on em before installation

buy a couple gallons of white vinegar and soak it for a few days.

After you rinse it clear, coat the inside with some Marvel Mystery Oil or WD40 until you are able to line it (recommend Caswell epoxy coating).

Jim F can repair those carbs good as new if you have the broken parts to weld back on.  Will have to remove the JB weld first, of course.

There isn't much corrosion in them, which makes them very good candidates for restoration, imo.
