Best fuel tank liner?

I know a mint tank with no liner is best. But if you have to... what's the best liner kit?? Kreem? Por15? Red kote? Northern? Gold standard? Any others?

Used POR15 many times with no issues - instructions must be followed to the letter though.

+1 of POR-15 -- never had a problem.

+1 on Red Kote, never had a problem and it's a 2-step process (POR-15 is 3 steps).

Haven't used Caswell but continue to hear good things about it...

Por15. Used many times. Has lasted years.  I've had tanks done with other brands that have failed. I would chalk it up to improper prep. Prep is the key!!!!

Well here's a positive.

Did one many years ago with Kreem.  Did proper prep and let it dry with forced air for over a week.  It worked fine and never failed as far as I know.

I sold the bike after about 5 years.  Saw it again 3 years later and it was still good.

But, I did get all the rust out before use, followed the instructions, and had lots of time to let it thoroughly cure before ever putting fuel in it.

I have seen Kreem failures.  And in almost all cases they were done as rush jobs with poor prep.  Suspect the other failed cases were  poor prep, too, but unable to verify.  They had rust in them.  But, couldn't tell if it was from before or after the Kreem job.

Pete'sPonies swears by Master Series Silver. It's a moisture cured product, seems to be about the same price as POR and Caswell. It converts rust and seals it and then becomes the finished layer. He swears by the stuff and has been using it for like 20 years rescuing Mustangs (and we all know what rust buckets those are).

I will try the product on a car project I have coming up, and a tank, but since you're a painter, thought you might also know it or want to investigate it.

I've also heard good things about that from the classic car guys.
