Topic: Newtronics Electronic Ignition - any good?

I'm looking at getting electronic ignition for my bike (750 K7).

I've found the Newtronics at this site and it seems ok.

Does anyone have one of these fitted to their bike? Here in Australia its about $100AU cheaper than the Dyna S.

Unless anyone has a Dyna S they wanna sell cheap!

I've got a good used Dyna "S" that I'll sell you mate, it's in my K2 now so I know it works, or i've got a good Martek for a 750 if you'd prefer that? Cheers, Terry.

Seems a bit late...but just in case... yes I have one of these Newtronic (used to be called Piranha) kits on one of my 400/4s - it 's very good, no probems at all & produces a helluva spark, just make sure you HT leads and caps are in good condition else it will find the weak spots.
