« on: July 01, 2017, 11:08:25 PM »
I know a lot of guys have these old Honda CA95's and the nos exhaust pipe gaskets are absolute crap. Has anyone come across a suitable replacement?Crushable copper or otherwise. On mine the ID is aprox. 30mm and the od is aprox 37mm. Just curious. Thanks everyone.

Don't suppose you could manufacture it?  7 mm is a pretty thick gasket, I think the exhaust gaskets today are like 1-2 mm thick.  something like thin-wall copper tubing or the like - like you would find in an AC or refrigerator

Just to be clear, we're talking about the gasket between the exhaust outlet on the cylinder head and the exhaust header??

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm referring to the gasket where the exhaust pipe meets the head, #4 in the attached pic. The only nos ones i have found are copper wire wrapped fiber that break down super fast and are $$$ for what they are...
I added a second photo of one that I pulled out for reference....
