Vintage Rims Need Help

I recently started a job at a dealership that has been around for a couple generations and have been given permission to sift through their stock of vintage parts. They may make it my job to sell them on Ebay. I'm the only person there who likes vintage bikes.  My first stop was the wall of NOS rims since my 350f is in serious need. I found a rear DID in my size with the correct number of holes and after a while found an Araya rim for the front.

My concerns are that I've never heard and Araya and Im not positive both of these rims will lace up correctly. I think the shop specialized in dirt back in the day,  but i did clearly see a rim marked CB750. Any advice would be appreciated.

If they are mx wheels, the front is cake.  The rear will need drilled.  Bucannon's did my rear for $25.

The rim's spoke holes are supposed to be drilled to point at the hub flange, so a drum hub (large diameter) rim has different drilling than a disc hub (small diameter) rim. The difference may be "not enough to matter" but I would check with a few loose spokes for what hub diameter they were drilled to fit. There are also several common hole sizes for different nipple sizes and types. Make sure the hub holes and your nipples are compatible. Some nipple types are not at all happy with misaligned spoke holes particularly on relatively thick alloy rims.

What do you mean buchanon drilled the rear? I thought the spoke angle was set with the shape of the rim? I can only assume drilling would allow for bigger spoke nipples.

Im gathering that the front should be fine since the odds are the hubs didn't have large variances in size, but the rear mostly depends on if the rim was designed for a drum or disk since a drum hub is a larger diameter thus changing the spoke angles?

How do people replace their stock rims with excels? Shouldn't this be a similar situation?

I guess ill offer them 20 bucks and see what happens

Some rims are undrilled..
At buchanans, upon getting the order, the rim drilling machine is set at proper angle and size.

Bucannon's can re-angle a already drilled wheel for proper spoke alignment
