I think the outside edges at the bottom rear needed to be eased out a little but not much.
That's all I can remember though sorry.

that helps a lot sammy ;D.  the lower rear does need to be massaged, but...  do you remember needing to make any adjustments to get the rubbers to fit?

Do you mean the front rubbers that go into the cups at the front on the under side of the tank.
If so, it would have been nothing that could not be done with a sharp trimming type knife.
Just pull the rubbers off and offer them to the cups to see how much needs to be trimmed back, it's not rocket science.
Sorry I can't offer more but don't forget, my brain took a big hit in that crash and the memory side of it is fcuked.
The rubbers at the rear were just the type that push over the top rails and the back bottom edges of the tank just sat on them.
The quickly detachable seat then held the tank in place.

really do appreciate your efforts sammy  8).  maybe my tank isnt a 350f...  it is too short.  if i clip the tank in the front with the rubbers snuggly in place, the rear of the tank doesnt reach the mount.  maybe i need a longer seat, or move the tank back.  no worries, i will come up with something.  thank you again for your help!  btw, your memory seems in tact to me  ;D

haha, I see what you mean now Medyo.
Is the bike in the picture that you posted the one you are referring to ?
The tank does look like a 350f tank but the frame is obviously a 750 and it will never reach.
As I said in the last sentence of my last post, the seat held my tank in place, I removed the rear mounting bracket from the
frame to save weight as it was serving no purpose.
The front of the seat just covered the rear bracket on the tank and when the seat was pulled down tight onto the top rails, it held the tank in position. The seat was made quickly detachable in the event of needing to remove the tank.
What model and years are the motor, frame and swing arm you are using ?
All fit together quite easily but mixing and matching can cause big problems further down the line. Ask me how I know, haha.

Sammy, that is the bike I am talking about; my seat is also a quick release for the same reason. The frame and engine are 78a, and the swingarm came off a zuki. I am into mixing and matching just like you, lol

Thanks for the pics Billy. 'Preciate both your help~

It might not be a problem then.
When I tried to fit an extended RC swing arm to the Auto frame, it went in perfect but the left hand shock, wheel and drive chain were well out because the arm was intended for use with the K models which are different to the F and A models.
Using the Suzuki arm, you'll have all these thing to figure out for yourself, I was just trying to be helpful.

MEdyo, did you install bushings in the arm so it would pivot to allow  you to use shocks?
