PAMCO ISSUES!
« on: July 09, 2017, 01:45:41 PM »
Alright guys I've had my ignition timing done for a while now, until the other night when i was going to start up the bike and it would only fire on coil 1-4. i pulled plug caps and tried arching to my engine but no spark. (did the same with 1-4 and worked) checked wiring everything is fine, pulled ignition cover and ran a test light on my red wires and got power. did the same on my green wires (go to coils) and only got the light to work on 1-4 when trying to start the bike. my timing is still set. no advancer issues. Is it possible soldering have gone bad or anything?? it was working fine one second the next its not. where is pamco Pete??

I have gotten my unit warrentied and same issue. could it be my advancer? its so weird to me! maybe could my bike come out of complete timing for those cylinders cause i tried starting 1-4? could that have messed 2-3 up?

So, Pete replaced the unit under warranty and you're still having the same issue? Maybe you should change the name of the thread.
The advancer wouldn't make either side fire or not fire.
Check continuity on the wiring for the 2/3 side. From where you attached the Pamco wires, all the way up the main harness to the coils.
