Found something on the /r/hondaCB subreddit that might be of interest to everybody:

Operates on 6 or 12 volt systems
-Works with LED or normal incandescent bulbs
-Has a constant flash rate of about 1.5 Hertz no matter what bulb type, voltage, or ambient temperature
-It can be connected directly to spade connectors, or inserted into a standard blade fuse block
Not for sale yet, but I am working on my website currently, so maybe in the next week or so. All schematics and PCB design files will be available to download if you want, completely open source.
For any electrical nerds like me, it basically uses an astable 555 timer circuit to turn a mosfet on and off, which turns the light on and off. When the light is off, it charges a capacitor to keep the 555 timer IC powered.
For any non electrical nerds, it's magic.
