Cleaned up a little bit and put the stock seat back on. That solo seat in the previous pics is handmade and I told the P.O. I'd give it back (no tools on hand earlier today). There is a stock solo seat we might use but I need some hardware that's missing.

That's a nice Super 90 Scott,they were high performance...

A 90 high performance?  Ha!

The guy I got it from used to drive it about 15 miles to work. Said it would do 70 mph.
You gotta take it for what it is, man. I'll have two bikes (this and the CL70 or 90) that weigh around 200 lbs and are street legal and will do an easy 55 mph. What's wrong with that?

I'm fairly sure the S90 had a better cam than the CT90 plus Honda made the rims and spokes on it lightweight.
There are 250's now that weigh a bunch more than the S90 that have around the same performance while you're sitting upright;the S90 wants you to lean-down out of the wind in a 'tuck' to achieve more speed.
The older C200 and Ct200 90's were overhead valve, not overhead cam like the S90. ;)
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

You probably would want to steer clear of the overhead  valve small Hondas, they had a few issues as well as having lower power output.  If DrATV restocks his S90 cam, get it, gives you a fatter and increased torque in the lower gears making the bike pull harder.  Well worth the  roughly $35-40 for the cam.

Like I mentioned with ATC125 parts and case work to enlarge cylinder sleeve openings you can build a stroker S90 hybrid that is a very strong motor with much larger displacement, making the bike handle city traffic even better and more fun.  It is fun running two similar powered tiddlers against one another, it is almost like an IROC race and riding skill starts to play a real roll. While the bikes are not that fast, they can be a lot of fun, enjoying them for what they are.  They can give you an appreciation for the area you are riding in as you can enjoy the scenery more with less risk while riding.
if you upgrade the power much you will want to fit a stronger front drum.

That RE Bullet is pretty.
The Chevy van, what year was it?  350 powered or otherwise?

I'll definitely be keeping the S90. I'll see what the engine looks like inside before I start replacing part, other than the kick start shaft.
The van was an '86. The pics are better than real life, but it was dependable as an anvil. We have a new truck now and I just don't need it anymore. It had the 305/3-speed auto.

I would like to put a big bore kit in a S90 but leave the stroke/rod stock so it revs fast, love the quick pull of that little engine.  :)  I don't own one yet but would like to.

Scott Kirn on Yahoo S90 group can give you very good advice on increasing bore, beyond a 104cc...

The S90 motor really was very unique and ground breaking in many ways for Honda.  HondaMan has said it was the basis of design for CB750 motor...
