Tank rust.....what would you do?

Started getting my Kawa tank ready for the POR15 kit. Found some pinholes on the top of the tank today....on top of all places.  :'( Would you have them soldered/brazed or rely on the POR15 to seal them? No other rust holes anywhere but here .


Below the filler cap


above the tank strap...where the front of the seat rubbed on it I guess

Those are pretty big holes.I think I would try brazing them shut. That is kinda strange that they're on the top.You would expect to find rust-thru on the bottom.

I'd try plumbing solder, less heat involved and it will seal without any other treatment.
Dont know where you'll find a 2lbs soldering iron though?

I have done this on my 750 F2 tank.
Then did the insite with rustbuster

Fill the tank with CO2 or steam if brazing. Soldering is best done with a 200 W soldering iron.

I was looking at it from the office earlyer and did not see the pictures. These holes can be easily solderd, no big deal.
