Finally! An Affordable Sandcast!

Wow!  Finally a Sandcast I can afford!  What a beauty!  I am a little concerned about the "...I cannot guarantee that it will not sustain some damage in shipping..." note.

Seat height might be an issue also  ;)
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Already built will not go for much I think.

Brand new in the plastic would fetch MUCH more.  I keep thinking I'll find one in a yard sale one day.  RIIIIGHT.

I can already see the K2 tank trim, air box, and headlight on this one.

If it doesn't go for much more I might snap it up and fix it to look right.

Still in the box and had a small book of other bikes and cars.  I'll try to find it and see if they have a web address.

Make sure that the frame and engine numbers are below 1007414, especially the engine since many "sandcast" engine cases were destroyed when final chain drive snapped and replaced with a diecast cases under Honda warranty. And as the other gentleman says, I too see many non "sandcast" parts in the photo.

Even though I currently own 3 stock 1969-70 CB750s and two 1972 CB750K2s, not to mention one 1971 CB500, one 1975 CB550 and one 1976 CB400F, I joined your club just last week! I'm just a late bloomer.

Just CB750. I have two 1970 CB750s also, both manufactured in January 1970. I thought one of my 1970 CB750 was one of the 121 real CB750K0s but serial numbers are too low, even though it has the K1 type carburators and an early 1968 type taillight featured in British CB750s. I did a dedicated CB750 issue in one of my Tigers of Terra comics back in 1991 (series 2 issue#4) which featured an original silver CB750 prototype on the cover but back then I was little confused by the K0 designation. Since then I purchased nearly 20 1968-1972 Honda CB350-CB750 models (it's easy to identify them when, as a kid. drooling over the bikes you can't afford, collected all the major motorcycle brochures from that era) and resently restored most of them thanks in part to ebay under very very careful shopping (some stuffs were mis-identified). I also did another dedicated motorcycle comics resently titled Angels 750 which showed the second CB750 prototype on the cover of issue #1. Now I'm tackling my collection of Kawasakis.
