ive just retired and fancy a cb750 ...main use would be for cruising the derbyshire peak district
but which one to go for?
any advice would be great

Hello from the other side of the pond.

Ask yourself, how much wrenching do I want to do?  This will lead you to a well maintained running bike or a bike that needs a lot of care.

 :)  welcome from the states !    do you like blondes or redheads ?   do some home work and search your ads for bikes for sale .  hope a nice cb will find you .   i have a 76 k6 and love it !

Welcome from Texas.   Get the earliest model as you can afford, a "Sandie" [1969] would be a dream bike.
