A Helmet A Dog and a Happy ending
« on: December 26, 2006, 06:41:30 PM »
Apparently my brother didn't approve of my old helmet so bought me a new Nolan several weeks ago.  Very nice helmet and very nice of him, probably trying to get straight w/ the Lord for all those things he did to his little brother - me - those many years ago.  Anyway to continue w/ the story last Spring my boss bought me a Boxer puppy to replace my dear Boxer Sally who had died several months before.  Well a few weeks ago I had my helmet hanging on my mirror and the puppy, now 7 months, pulled the helmet off and ate the liner - one present destroying another.  I looked on the internet, called this company and that w/ not luck.  Finally I emailed Nolan in Italy and asked if they made a replacement liner.  The next day a company in the States emailed me saying they had one.  $34 plus shipping and now I have a new liner in and no one will be the wiser - just in case my brother can still beat me up.

10 years later, and I'm still heartbroken that Rosie got hold of my favorite belt.  Had a custom buckle that only fit that belt.  ah-well...
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!
