Hey just picked up a decent shape ca160 and looking for as much info as possible.
As of yet not running but hoping to change that soon.
-If anyone knows a good resource for shop manuals I'd love to check that out.
-the bike had a dead 6 volt battery but on another thread there's mention of needing a 9 volt???
-also wondering what the appropriate spark plug should be.
-the biggest problem area on the bike is the rusted out mufflers so been looking around for those, not exactly easily obtained. Anybody know if any other models used the same mufflers, 305 dreams??? What's the general opinion on the Taiwanese repot mufflers available on eBay. My other option is finding mufflers off something aesthetically close and have the mounting brackets off mine welded on...
-the other issue is the petcock, looks like someone broke the lever off and sealed that area with quick steel. Seller said it still flowed fine but just no reserve and off function. We'll see.
-tanks a lil crusty but structurally looks ok. Hope to treat the inside soon. I'd like to really go over the outside, polish it up... anybody know the best way to remove  the chrome plates and rubber knee pads without destroying them?
You can probably tell I'm a nube so excuse any dumb questions and info is appreciated. Thanks
