CB750 shock length
« on: July 23, 2017, 04:53:05 PM »
What is the best rear shock length to use?  I am 6'3" and want to make a brat..scrambler type of build.  I was thinking 13 inch shocks?

I'm 6' 1"  and I put 13.5 inch shocks on this frame.  On the lowest setting, this the stance.  FYI

The settings on the shocks aren't height adjustments. It'll always be the same height. The setting is for spring stiffness. Stiffer for riding with gear and 2 up, softer setting for a solo skinny bastard.

I may be wrong, but I believe IKONS can be custom ordered as to length and the spring.  If Wblfyer is going to go offroading he should consider a longer shock with more travel and appropriate springs to soak up bumpy dirt roads.
