recently, I had my cb750 K2 entered into a judged show. One issue was the seat (NOS genuine Honda) was wrong for a K2. BUT, the books all say '72-'76 are all the same. They're not; I dug out my original seat, and sure enough, it's different. The problem is, one seam is split open, and there are a couple of small tears in the vinyl. Can this be fixed? New covers don't match this one-year seat, so that won't work. I'm finding an original K2 seat is a rare animal. Any ideas?
