1969 Honda CA160 any info appreciated
« on: July 28, 2017, 01:45:28 PM »
Hey just picked up a decent shape ca160 and looking for as much info as possible.
As of yet not running. Really need to find a shop manual, been looking around online but no luck. Questions about what kind of spark plugs, battery, oil, etc. to use.  Looking for decent replacement mufflers, really only parts that appear bad.

Nice I'll check out that book. I saw those mufflers but the mounting brackets look wrong. Figured if I couldn't find something else I'd have to get those and have the  brackets from mine welded on to those.

I would not buy the clymer unless you wanted a backup...
the factory manual is available from Helm.  I am not aware if it is also available as a download anywhere.  The CA95 was not.  I am not a fan of the Clymer manuals personally, I prefer Haynes over them but factory being best.

There are some common manuals out there as well (downloads)
