Nope wasn't fixed in the advancer plate. I had taken all of the engine pieces over to my dad's to de-greese I'm figuring it dropped out of the crank during that time, Will be sifting through the gunk tonight but my hopes are not high.
I can measure it but would need to use a scale as I don't have a caliper that is that small. I suppose a trip to the hardware store to stock up on a bunch of different sizes would work as well. Good idea.
I feel its a high tolerance piece to keep the timing from moving around so thought I would ask this group if they knew the specific size.
Have been in the shadows reading posts and this was the first thing I wasn't able to find so I took the plunge into the forum, even if it is kinda a simple thing.

Push a piece of gum, playdough, putty, etc... in the crank or advancer hole, and then measure it.
