I had her on the road around the block twice before winter hit. I have some kinks to work out. I have/had the carbs set at the wrong needle position (position 3, not 4 like it should be for the 627B carbs). It was running a bit rich.... Also, the '76F header does not tighten down as well as it should, I need to examine this this winter. Because of this, I have exhaust leaks. Also, with really no miles on new rings, I am blowing oil, but this could be attributed to the wrong needle position (too much gas=soaking the cylinders allowing blow by). It also backfires, but that could be caused by my other issues...
Other then some other minor things (fork seals
, Getting a seat done, having it repainted as it was a get me done job), stage 1 is basically complete.
Now, the 836 motor, that's a ways off. Still gathering parts for that one....
