Finally got the rear turn signals moved to make room for some panniers.

Ran new ground wires from the inside of the housing to the existing connections under the seat.  The hot wires had to be extended.

Presently am working on a mounting system for a pair of 50 cal ammo cans.

Here is the first mock up of the 50 cal box being mounted to the bike.

First thought was to mount the box so that the seat can be opened.  After looking at the profile I decided it would be better to have the box on the same slope as the seat.

I did a trial fit of one of the boxes.  I need to fine tune the mounting hardware.  More pictures to come.

Here is the ammo can with the mounting hardware.  The 3d printed block uses the original turn signal bracket hole to attach to the bike.  It is not quick on and off but a few twist with a socket loosen things up.

Here it is mounted on the bike.

Plan is to paint the boxes the same color as the side covers.

Completed a SS1K this morning and the boxes and mounts gave no problems.  I did have to adjust the chain after 500 miles.
