1971 CL Scrambler
« on: August 17, 2017, 09:21:58 AM »
Hey all, I've got a friend who is a motorcycle guy, more so in the Harley area. He's looking at a 71' CL Scrambler and I'm not super up on what to look for on twins. Can someone give me a checklist of things that should be looked over before he pulls the trigger? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!

CL350 or 450?  450's are generally worth more.
What are his plans?
Does he want to keep it stock or mod it?
An intact stock exhaust on these bikes can be worth as much as the whole bike.
You might take a poke over at http://www.hondatwins.net/ for some info.
Do you have a copy of the Honda Shop Manual or Parts List for your bike? Get one here:
