What did you get for christmas?
« on: December 25, 2006, 11:12:52 AM »
This year was much better than last year. This year I finally got that set of dance roller skates that I always wanted (hope I don't kill myself with them  ;D ) Got some killer shirts, some brain puzzles (wont they be dissapointed when the figure out I have no brain  ::) ), oh and the set of pez head OCC dispensers was funny.

My two favorite gifts are my new leather riding jacket and a book I bought at Books A Million with a gift card  called "Honda Production Motorcycles 1946-1980". Good reading and reference guide.

some good presents so far that other people have received.

my motorcycle related presents that i received were a 35 liter marsee  pocket QL tank bag... it's super sweet!
http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/3234,78110_Marsee-Rocket-Pocket-Mag-Motorcycle-Tank-Bag-25L.html
i also got a helmet locking system... it looks like a helmet cover with a cable lock around the opening... it enables you to run the cable thru the arm of your jacket or whatever else, then put your helmet in the bag and cinch it all together and lock it to the bike... it's super sweet too!
of course, i got the usual cool stuff like screwdrivers and zippos and chocolate.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

The old TC's gift to himself was to not have a cigarette for the last 26 days.....I just might be a quitter soon. Other than that, the shiatsu massage chair liner thingy is a groove.

Go TC!

Other than that, the shiatsu massage chair liner thingy is a groove.  Yeah, might help with withdrawal symptoms, too.

Holy crap that seat looks familiar  ;)  Is that checkered striping that you added to the rear?  Hope you manage to make it fit - will look awesome.

Enjoy the seat!  Tim.

Ooh, well I got a new pair of Nike Air Pegasus runners, (sneakers, trainers, whatever you call them in your neck of the woods) Bourbon, Wine, Port, DVD's, liquer chocolates, (bastards know I'm on a diet, so are trying to make me eat something.......) and I just ordered one of these things:

 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110071170690&ssPageName=MERC_VIC_RSCC_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT&refitem=110071167697&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=closed_view_item&usedrule1=StoreCatToStoreCat&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget

Christmas is good! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

It's going to take a lot of work to fit it, but it's going to look awesome!  You can see the old seat in the upper right hand corner with the checkered stripe, it looks much better on the cafe seat!  Thanks again for the great deal on the seat!!!

Good job TC. My target date is Jan 1. My state voted in an additional $1 per pack tax starting then, they finally pushed the right button. Are you using patches, gum ,etc. or just going it on your own?
