Holy cow! Clock is ticking! I thought I was dragging behind, and all I'm going to do is swap fuel tanks and inspect the clutch. I got this cool purple fuel tank from some guy that is already set up to receive my brand new Pingel fuel valve...  ;)  ;D  8)

Gotta keep those PD carbs from going lean at 9500rpm.  :o

You need my new to me set of 29 smootthbores.  Found them in a box with this.....lol, but I didn't even know I had Vertex instructions...30 minutes later we, me and BabyFace that is, so showed him the instructions,  took him a minute to digest it. He hit the ground running, chased his ass all the way to some guys house in Southaven,  he was barking and trying to get under the bed! Lol

Roll on Bill. At least one of us seems to making something happen. I'm in the middle of going through my physical therapy sessions. I'll know better where I stand the first week in April.

I would trade for a Honda drive unitl.

My suggestion on the magneto is to gut it out, put a Dyna S behind the cover, add a pair of hot coils and call it a day. Period correct is just that, correct for that period in time when we had few choices.

My 2 cents.

Jerry, all I can say at this point is this reminds me of that road race style bike at the beginning of the calendar girl thread. How long did the poking and prodding last that eventually lead to a ten second pass on a 30 year bucket list. ☹

Ultimately, the numbers we both run will be dictated by how well we manage the power adder. Be it turbo, or nitrous its about how you use it that will net the best results. Both can set records and both can destroy parts when not set up correctly. Lets do our best to stay safe.

FRANK: Bill said SUPERCHARGER , we [MSP] put a SUPERCHARGER on a BUSA that Joe bought off a guy name Richard from England [ with no instructions] at a dealers show in the USA. Did not have a key way on pulley , he Richard told us friction would hold it in place.  My A$$ = Ward put key way slots in pulley and crank look around how many Busa have you seen with a Supercharger..... Bill will have a head tuner when the power comes on under full BOOST.

Pops, I need you to do a favor for me. On your way to the Cup race at Dragway 42, could you detour over to Beasely fiberglass to pick up an oversized box. I intend to buy a Busa Pro mod body by shipping costs will kill me. You could deliver the body to Bill at the track and I'd get it from him in Georgia.
