Probably meant to be used with inner tube, quite normal in those days...

First pic, steady stream of bubbles..
It will be tubeless by end of the week .
It has the bead retention ridges inside, I rode it with no air and it stays on the rim.

Is it stamped "TL", Frank? Rather than using silicone, I've recently found that JB weld flows out very nicely at 95* F, even without thinning with acetone. ;)

Where did you see the TL marking?
What I did notice, was near the valve hole it was marked 750, with that marking system that uses dots to make up the letters...... less prone to stress feactures.

I'll have to look where the stamp is; I think it's near the center rib? It also shows the size (2.15) as well as what appears to be the date of manufacture, 77 on one of my wheels and 78 on the other. The stamp marks are Very shallow, and are hard to see.

Are your anodized ? Some are painted, and maybe some bare ones.

Not sure if it's paint or anodized; if it's paint, it's very thin, at least now.

Porosity really bites hard sometimes..sorry to hear about it Frank.
At least it did not bite you going to or returning from Colorado...bright side
The Morris wheels are nice...I like the look.

JB Welding the inside of the wheel, right? Doing it on a spoke just asks for it to find another weak spot over time.

Frank, the TL and the size are cast into a pad on the spoke opposite the valve stem, not stamped like I thought. I could only find this on the rear wheel?? What appears to be the date code is lightly stamped on the hub of both wheels, with the valve stem pointed at them.

Thinning epoxy with denatured alcohol is better when you wish to slow the cure so a heated epoxy ( which speeds the reaction) can cause it to wet out fiberglass or other composites.  Acetone is far faster on its evaporating ...
Just an FYI...
you can also thin Goop with acetone and clean it up on something as long as you are not getting it near what you are trying to glue as it will wick under/into the glue joint edges causing it to lift and break the bond.  Another chemical good for thinning Goop like adhesives, Goop or Shoe Goo, is Xylol.  I like to use Xylol, it seems to thin the Goop better.  The thinning will slow Goop's curing some, but its a fast curing/skinning , adhesive.

Not that you would ever wish to consider Goop for this wheel leak.

Most silicone adhesives have that characteristic acetic acid  and Goop being a silicone compound has it as well.  I would not risk thinning a silicone you were trying to seal a rim, in case you decide to go that route instead of going with epoxy.

Checked a 19 4 bolt Kawi mag, that I had run befire on the 750. It is marked TL cast in with the wheel width.
Got at least one more of the 4 bolt front to check and a few rear Morris mags.
