1965 Honda S90 exhaust/muffler question
« on: August 29, 2017, 04:53:28 AM »
I'm working on a 1965 Honda S90. The exhaust is in pretty rough shape. There are several holes, a couple of which someone has tried to "repair" by screwing in a bolt or screw, plus several others. Then there are the deep gouges.
Honda lists two mufflers/exhausts for the S90; a two piece header/muffler combo, which I have, and a one piece exhaust. The one piece exhaust is readily available and affordable.
I have the angled exhaust port on my bike. Will the one piece reproduction mufflers fit my '65?

This is what I'm looking at (one of several vendors):

In case it'll help someone else, I found this information on the exhaust:  http://s90partspuzzler.blogspot.com/search/label/Exhaust%20Muffler

Looks like I'll be trying to salvage mine until I can find a better one.

Wow,  it is really unusual for Honda to make that many changes in such a short time period. Have fun with the S90....Larry
