No, 90 in 2nd is a dig or poke at a certain hipster who was kicked off forum and many others for his narcasistic need for attention and inflammatory nature when he once boast of having his brat style 350 up to 80mph in 2nd gear in nyc.  This fool put rusty spokes on his bike when the originals were in very nice shape...all about the look and none of it in good tastes.  Paid others to do work for him and spoke of it as having done it himself.  Drove people crazy with problems with the bike and would not listen to means of repair or provide the requested data to better diagnose.  Managed to obtain a members phone number and drove him nuts.  Had to block his number to be shed of him...

I missed out on that delightful member...I assure you I was in 5th. When taking an on-ramp at 70mph I realized that I need to rebuild my from suspension badly...but it sure is nice to be back out there. I can't believe I only rode a bike for 5-6 years in Southern California...How did I do that? I must have had nerves of steel!!! It is taking some getting used to this round after such a long break

Had it up over 90mph yesterday! :)

My bet is that you were not in 2nd gear, either!

Is this an Rc51 reference? Hopefully...it is still possible

And thanks everybody...

No, you can do that with an RC51.  The reference was to a particular former (now banned) member who claimed his CB350F could do 85 mph in 2nd gear.

I seem to have missed this guy as well, hahaha and RAF, I like your use of the word Narcasistic in describing him.
But here's another take on it. Gear and tune any of the old BIG Honda's and 85 in first and 116 mph in second would come up quite easily, have a think about it, hahaha.
