No, what this plug-in does is change the referrer URL when making a request to Photobucket to fool Photobucket into thinking it's an internal request.

I'm pretty sure this is only temporary because if this plug-in becomes popular PB will certainly update their code to block this workaround.

Oh, I'm sure it's probably fine and only does what it says it does. I did not mean to be an alarmist.
Just don't be surprised when it stops working.

I can't take the credit for this one. I found it on another forum. I shared it here, and one other forum.

If PB is smart, they'll leave well enough alone. I can't help but think they have realized that getting greedy hasn't worked, and that while a whole lot of people are saying their name, it's preceded by the word "damn"(or worse).

And thanks for that. It does work.
I'm using it right now on my Linux box out in the shop to browse Sohron's brilliant 550 assembly thread as I get the cables and harness squared away on my 550.  :)

Ubuntu. It's pretty much plug & play and runs on my 10 year old former game rig.

Nice, as you said it won't take them much to stop that. Everyone should be copying images to alternative sites before they do something even stupider.

Yes Dave, pics can be attached directly to a post.
Click on "Attachments and other options" below the dialogue box, which opens the "Attach" option. Click on "Browse", then find the pic you want to attach, click on it, and then click the "Open" button. The name of the selected pic will appear to the right of the "Browse" button. To attach more pics in the same post, click on "(more attachments)", which opens another "Browse" box.

Since I've re-installed the electric starter on my bike, I get a bit of a chuckle when I hit the button and think of your video of the kick-starter fail. ;D ;D
