It's not just the sealer but the vinyl ester resin. That's why carpy also doesn't sell his tanks any longer. Fiberglass tanks should be compression molded, gel coat on both the inside and outside nice smooth surface without pin holes. Makes an ok bonding surface for caswell. Carbon fiber tank isn't gel coated on either side. Cast well, por15, doesn't matter. It's not gonna seal it permanently. Carbon is to expensive to make mistakes, especially on large pieces. I don't do this for a living, so I'm paying retail for supplies. It's not just the ethanol, every gallon of gas in the US has fuel injection cleaner in it. Composites dissolve in that stuff.
