At this point , not sure if Amen had numbers, but they should have had, and they would be unique to them.
What I am talking about is people using their Honda numbers as a frame number, which opens a big can of worms.
The only legit way out of that mess. . if the bike cops notice the irregularity....Maybe... is if you happen to have the old neck with you at the time, or Notarized proof it was destroyed.
Stamping numbers from one manufacturer, onto a frame built by someone else, is still a numbers job, which often leads to confiscation.
We had a bike squad here that followed around certain club members and certain events, when we went there, we were scrutinised, by them guys, photographed m sometimes numbers checked, things like that.
At Sturgis they had checkstops and were checking numbers and I know a local here who lost his frame, which was actually legit.. so it happens.
