Tool Steel Wrist Pins
« on: July 26, 2017, 02:18:28 PM »
People were bemoaning a few months ago that we were no longer making 15mm tool steel wrist pins. The market just didn't support it.

Well we just received rods and pistons from Racer Machine for the RC Sorcerer. They need pins.  So here's a heads up. We are making a short run of them along with the batch of Harley® top fuel pins we are currently running.

THere will be several sets left over. They will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.   Get to the phone ASAP.

Interesting.  How do these compare weight wise to "regular" big bore 15mm pins?

Are wrist pins with teflon buttons as a package available?

How much per set ?

Big Jays list sets of 4 for his regular 16mm and up sets for $89.  Not sure if the small run dictates a bigger price.

How do these compare to other quality aftermarket wrist pins for high performance poisons for our bikes? Weight? Strength?

Well, when they break, it's like poison! Lol. Who makes a 15mm aftermarket strong pin?

I'm in for two sets to fit 72mm bore if you read this before tomorrow Jaye. I'll call to confirm with you in the morning. I need 3 sets of telfon buttons too.

I'm in for a set of 73mm and 70mm bore 15mm diameter pin sets with buttons if you can supply them.  Perhaps 71s too.

I'll call in the morning as well.

Our fueler pins are not about weight.  They are about opening the throttle on the Sorcerer and not have a rod poking thru the cases.

Oh I totally understand.  Nitro has a habit of shredding engine parts. ;)  The Sorcerer should get the strongest available pins.

The important question(for me anyway) is whether you can supply pin/teflon (or aluminum) button combos for us in 70-73mm bore.

I guess I assumed pins that came with aftermarket pistons were far superior to stock ones to begin with.

These are finished and shipping Monday. We have Bills order. Any others who have not called in an order better do so ASAP. We only made these because Russ needed them for the Sorcerer. We will not be making them again.    661-256-7309    salespat@aperaceparts.com
