I had an 848, but that was quiet exhaust, wet clutch and I didnt put many miles on it so I consider this my first real Ducati experience.
I have to tell you, in the 2 short days I have been driving it, everything said about Ducati's are true.
-- It HATES traffic, or anything under 30 mph. It hesitates, surges, coughs and grumbles under 4k rpm
-- You will burn your legs off. She's hot and makes no effort to spare you the heat coming from the engine/exhaust
-- The sounds... mmm the sounds. The exhaust and dry clutch sound like an orchestra made up of just timpani drums and guys jsut hitting stuff with drumsticks and symbols. It is an immersive bath of sound.
I love every second of it. but I have to get back to my old girls locked up in the garage
