FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

I really like the look of this bike.  I just wish it had a more powerful motor - akin to a FZ-07 motor - since it has more weight added via the SSSA.  I know it's a customer bike and that's the customer's decision.  GREAT work as always, Devin.

You ought to see the 350 with SR4 swing arm now that it's complete! What a cool and trick little urban ride it is! One of the benefits of living in a small town is nobody is too far away to stay in touch-  :D

I wish that 350 with the Duc Monster S4R SSR had a 1000cc billet Mike Reick motor in it to really make that suspension work for it.

I know this is a little old, ran across this build on the internet and it has become my inspiration for my CB750K5 project. You mentioned having a cowl made up for the seat, did you ever move forward with hat idea? A removable cowl is a major part for my build.

I love the look of your bike. Doesn't look like you'll get much relief from your seat padding, or is that not required when your hanging off the side?

I'm keen to replace the stock steel rims on my '72 CB500K with some Aluminum Buchanan Sun Rims, but want to know how much wider I can go on the rear, before running into issues with chain clearance.

What are the dimensions of your rear rim? Also, What make and size rear tyre have you got on it?

My old girl is very much a work in progress, but she's come along way from the stock bitser I bought from my mate a year ago. Definitely a labour of love. I'm yet to fit the gold USD forks, triple clamps and twin discs I've recently acquired. If your beast is anything to go by, it will look killer & be a significant suspension and braking upgrade. (once I get all to fit).

Devin still makes these, and he can make just about any triple for any application (if you have a stock one to model from).  Go to his website and email/telephone him.
