Cb/CL350 Carb diagram
« on: December 27, 2006, 01:52:18 PM »
Hi All:

I got the Honda Factory manual for the CB/CL350 for Christmas. However, the info on the carb section is really short. Does anyone have a good carb disassembly/assembly document for the 350 twin they can send my way? I need to clean/rebuild the carbs and cannot figure out some of the little thing....

--Thanks, Chris

Nothing? Is there a manual other than the Honda Factory manual that better explains how these carbs come appart?

I've got PDF files of the following:

"Honda Motorcycle Carburetion" 29 pgs, 12 meg.  Describes the technical aspects.

"Keihin" 5pgs, 1 meg.  Tutorial rebuild filled with lots 'o pictures.

I'll e-mail them if you want a copy.  I have to believe your carbs are essentialy the same as SOHC4's, at least my CB175's are.

Also, look here --> http://www.salocal.com/sohc/tech/carb/carb.htm

Thanks for the link! How similar are the CB750 carbs to the CB350's? Are the fairly similar but with two more carbs?

I'm definately interested in your files. Please send them to chris.fiaccone@gmail.com

--Thanks again, Chris

Don't know about the 350's but my 175 carbs are virtually identical in nature.  I bet yours are the same too, as long as they're 1976 or before.  After '76 (at least with the 550 line) the EPA got involved and things started changing around a bit.  Air bleed screws turned into fuel bleed screws, etc.

...and check your e-mail, there's 13 meg of stuff flying at you through cyberspace...
