'72 CB350F Top Fork Bridge Compatibility
« on: September 18, 2017, 08:26:33 AM »
Hi all, long time since I've posted.  Sold my CB750 a while back, then got in to a CB350 twin.  Sold that and now have a CB350F.  Noticed just recently that my top fork bridge is cracked, who knows how long I've been riding it that way.  Anyhow, does anyone know what other top fork bridge from other bikes will fit?  My gauges and idiot lights are all stock.  TIA!

A CB400F triple tree will fit, although not positive about gauge mounts -- the 400F has a different idiot light set up, but I think the gauges are mounted the same. And with the idiot light set up of the 400F you can still use the 350F idiot lights -- the 400F just used two clamps for the bars instead of the light assembly the 350F used, but the 350F will fit there too. Google image of the two will give you an idea of how they fit. But that is the only other triple tree that I know of that will work on the 350F with the same fork tubes (33mm), etc.

Thx.  I'm guessing as long as the distance between the two bar clamp mounts are the same on both bikes, then I'm good to go...?

You could also swap the lower tree at the same time, if not sure.

Just wanted to chime in to confirm that yes, it fits!  Only difference being the mounts for speedo/tacho being a bit wider apart on CB400.

Now on to replacing fuel lines  ::)
