Don't really buy anything "in a moment of weakness", but I may buy something on an impulse - if that is the same??

last thing was a 1978 BMW R100S "barnfind", that I hid at work from my wife for 4 months until it was ready to ride. She likes it!

Beautiful R100S!     I bought one just like it in a moment of weakness, well that's what it'll look like when it's done, same color and all.   It came with mis-matched bodywork, but, I bought a complete bodywork set in that color, including fairing off ebay.     The seller neglected to mention the failed liner and rust inside the tank   

So, it's been waiting in the project queue for a few years now as I've been avoiding the PITA job of trying to remove that failed liner w/o ruining the nice paint on the outside.

Ha ha, a classic example of the duality of the human brain mate, you can love the beauty of a Corvette or custom gixxer, while appreciating the tractor like qualities of a Urinal......
