Spiderman has BIG BRASS BALLS to go 255MPH on a bike! Especially within 1/4 mile.... Geez, thats just unfathomable to a mortal dork like me  :-[ :o :o :o I would have needed diapers at 150mph on 4 wheels!

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

Cal and Billy, Cory Hogan ran 255 against Larry back in 2009 at Valdosta, they both recorded 225 at half track.
I'm not saying 255mph is not possible but a Nitro V twin recently ran a ridiculous speed at the stripe.
When they slowed the video footage down at the line, it was proved that the front wheel touched down as it came off the bars just after the first beam, shortening the speed trap length by the wheelbase of the bike.
Still awesome speeds though in any ones books.

Let's not forget Joey running 227 mph at Valdosta on a NO BAR BIKE and I could not believe my own eyes when I saw those numbers= a true PRO STOCK pass that should be NHRA ........ Harley did sell a V-ROD wheel bar bike in the showroom, that would be a PRO-STOCK bike to the public.
