Did I miss something?
« on: September 24, 2017, 09:24:16 AM »
Usually the answer to that is 'Yes, yes you did'  ;D but today must have been extra special.

Coming home from the office this morning I passed about 50 bikes going the opposite way on I-405.  It wasn't just a procession of batwings, doo-rags, and branded gear either - sport bikes, choppers, baggers, nakeds, streets, leadwings, you name it.

Normally I'd say - group ride, but they weren't in a group, they were staggered - 5 here, 10 there, 2 again.  This went on for miles and miles.  All I know is that none of them were waving back at me and I was the only bike headed south on I-405 for 35 miles.

Not too many looked particularly 'Distinguished', but I guess that explains it.

+1
Sooo many bikes out around the N sound headed to the Oyster Run.
A perfectly sunny day for all in these parts.

If there were a lot of Baggers then it wasn't the DGR. Technically the DGR isn't open to baggers and big tourers, although there were a couple at the Chicago DGR anyway.
