Hello all, new member here to the forums.
I picked up a 78 CB750A about a month ago now. There was a pretty bad oil leak when I first bought the bike from the torque converter area.
After doing some research I have replaced the following parts.
- The 2 o rings that are on the guide pins that sends oil thru the torque converter case to the torque converter.
- The shaft seal on the front of the torque converter.
- The o ring that's on the shaft on the back side of the torque converter.
- Rear torque converter oil seal.
After replacing the 2 o rings on the guide pins the leak wasn't as bad but still leaking.
I have came to the conclusion that it may be leaking from the back side of the torque converter where the oil seal is.
I noticed on the back side of the torque converter it looks like someone or something may have machined or grind some metal down.
Does anyone else have any close up pictures of the back side of the torque converter?
Thanks
